As a granite boulder with a super-polished top surface, the ‘Rock bench’ is an example of ‘the natural’ and man’s intervention on the natural co-existing effectively.  Through this juxtaposition of texture, the bench invokes larger ideas on socio-ecological symbiosis, and man being in sync with nature.
