A discarded edge-piece of a glass brick sample and a disused reinforcement bar coalesce  in the form of a lamp, beckoning us to reconsider what we deem as ‘waste.’
Repurposing waste materials from our landscape practice to create a functional product was a small step towards a shift from our linear system of take-make-consume-waste towards a  circular economy.
The lamp was auctioned at the 2022 Design ID exhibit in New Delhi,  with all proceeds being used for the empowerment of artisans in rural India.
